Raw Vegan Potlucks at Washington Park, Windsor, CT

Hi Everyone,

Occasionally we have Raw Vegan Potluck at Washington Park on Lennox Ave. in Windsor, CT

 Read more below.

We will be having it outdoors at Washington Park. There is a pavilion just in case it rains.

Our gatherings are a social event as we all "Discover the Benefits of Eating Raw Food" Please RSVP if you're coming.

You don't have to be a raw vegan to come, if it interests you or you're curious just come share a raw plant based meal us. If you have any questions about the Raw Lifestyle we can open up a discussion or talk one on one or just come to have a good time and make some new friends and see some old friends with great eats. If you're new our not sure what to make you don't have to bring an elaborate meal, keep it simple, Bring Organic Fruit.

What to bring:

• A completely RAW, organic dish that can serve samples to approx. 15 people

• Your recipe or a list of the ingredients that you used.

• Your own plate, utensils, napkins.

• A friendly smile and a big appetite.

Prepare something simple using ORGANIC fruits, vegetables, seeds or nuts. There's a lot of delicious meals that can be made combining these ingredients.

No slaving over a hot stove. Fresh is Best!

(Absolutely no processed foods, sauces, condiments, etc. Also no toasting, boiling, baking, frying or microwaving and definitely nothing from a can, jar, package or pre-made from a grocery store.

If you would like to be creative with a RAW dish? Just do a search on-line for "raw food recipes" and you'll find plenty of websites with free recipes.

If your new and don't have a clue what to make, just bring some ripe bananas, apples, pears, oranges, melons or any whole fruit or vegetable in season. I would rather you come bearing fruit then not come because you're worried what to make. It's that easy!

*If you're bringing a guest, please be sure to pass this information along because if they want to participate, they'll also need to bring something.

Hope to see you there,
Curt and Sunshine Janet
